Beauty in This Day

There is beauty in this day
Even if I cry it through
Because it is a day You've made
And I am trusting You
On some days the sun will shine
Other days the storms will come
But there is beauty in this day
Even if there isn't sun

There is peace within my soul
Even when the storms rage on
And there is hope under these clouds
Even if there isn't sun
My hope is firm, my joy secure
Though at times my smile fades
Of this life we can't be sure
But You oh Lord, You never change

And there's a place we're going
Where healing will restore all that's been scarred
And there's a time that's coming
Where beauty will replace all that's been marred

When I look up at the sky
And clouds are all that I can see
Still my gaze I'll hold up high As I look towards eternity
And there's a song within my heart
I will sing it till You come
When we'll be caught up in the clouds
Finally to see the Son
