You Hold Me Now

Six months past December

I’ll wake up to June

Will I remember the sorrowful tune

That I sang through the snow

Which gives birth to the bloom

The struggles forgotten so soon

But I remember them now

Oh I remember them now

But you hold me now

All the pieces of me

You’re putting together

A beautiful picture that I can’t yet see

And you hold me now

Though the fiercest winds blow

A heart that is barren

You are preparing for something to grow

And I am not alone

The death of the winter

The new life of spring

Have long been the themes

Of the songs that I sing

But there's peace in the storm

That only you bring

And that is the song I will sing

Whatever is happening now

No matter what's happening now

Because you hold me now

All the pieces of me

You’re putting together

A beautiful picture that I can’t yet see

And you hold me now

Though the fiercest winds blow

A heart that is barren

You are preparing for something to grow

And I am not alone

No I am not alone

For you hold me now

(Six months past December

We’ll wake up to June

The frost long forgotten

The flowers in bloom

Let us never forget

What you have brought us through

For you hold us now

All the pieces of us

Crawled from the hollows

Ran from the shadows

And rose from the dust

And you hold us now

In the calm and the storm

You're the foundation

You're our salvation

And you lead us on

And we are not alone

No we are not alone

For you hold us now)
