There You Are

I've been long waiting, to feel like home

I've been scattered and regrown

I've been long hoping, that by now

I'd have found my way somehow

But I have found, I have found, I have found

That it's a lonely world, that leaves a space unfilled

But no matter where I go

Anytime I feel alone

You remind me, in the spaces near and far

There you are

I've been long struggling, on the ground

Felt my wings were tethered down

I've been long needing, to be free

But the one who held me down was me

And I have found, I have found, I have found

That it's a lonely world, that leaves a space unfilled

But no matter where I go

Anytime I feel alone

You remind me, in the spaces near and far

If I fly or if I fall

You will hold me through it all

You will catch me, in the spaces near and far

Cause there you are

And these walls are not my home because my home is you

And the world may whisper lies but I know this is true

That no matter where I go

Anytime I feel alone

You remind me, in the spaces near and far

If I fly or if I fall

You will hold me through it all

You will catch me, in the spaces near and far

Cause there you are

The Name That Saves Us

Open your eyes

The day is dawning

Behold the gift, of mercies new

Weary arise

Your Savior's calling

You onto the path, He's paved for you

Toward the broken you bend

You step into our pain

For the lost and the hopeless

Lord Jesus you came

Though tragedies come

They will not steal our peace

In the hollows laid bare

May your kingdom increase

Jesus, you're the name that saves us

You're the one that calls us from the grave

That breaks the prisoner's chains

Jesus, you're the hope of nations

In you every wrong will be made right

Every soul can find new life

You're the calm in the storm

You are strong when we're weak

You're the healing that comes

When the sorrows run deep

With longing we wait

For all to be restored

As you pour in our lives

Overflow to the world

Jesus, you're the name that saves us

You're the one that calls us from the grave

That breaks the prisoner's chains

Jesus, you're the hope of nations

In you every wrong will be made right

Every soul can find new life

Come you weary

Lift your eyes

In your life, he wants to shine

Come you broken

Lay down your pain

There is healing in his name

Jesus, you're the name that saves us

You're the one that calls us from the grave

That breaks the prisoner's chains

Jesus, you're the hope of nations

In you every wrong will be made right

Every soul can find new life

You Hold Me Now

Six months past December

I’ll wake up to June

Will I remember the sorrowful tune

That I sang through the snow

Which gives birth to the bloom

The struggles forgotten so soon

But I remember them now

Oh I remember them now

But you hold me now

All the pieces of me

You’re putting together

A beautiful picture that I can’t yet see

And you hold me now

Though the fiercest winds blow

A heart that is barren

You are preparing for something to grow

And I am not alone

The death of the winter

The new life of spring

Have long been the themes

Of the songs that I sing

But there's peace in the storm

That only you bring

And that is the song I will sing

Whatever is happening now

No matter what's happening now

Because you hold me now

All the pieces of me

You’re putting together

A beautiful picture that I can’t yet see

And you hold me now

Though the fiercest winds blow

A heart that is barren

You are preparing for something to grow

And I am not alone

No I am not alone

For you hold me now

(Six months past December

We’ll wake up to June

The frost long forgotten

The flowers in bloom

Let us never forget

What you have brought us through

For you hold us now

All the pieces of us

Crawled from the hollows

Ran from the shadows

And rose from the dust

And you hold us now

In the calm and the storm

You're the foundation

You're our salvation

And you lead us on

And we are not alone

No we are not alone

For you hold us now)

Peace On Earth

The prophets of old

A Messiah foretold

The Earth would behold

God with us

A star in the sky

The angels on high

Proclaimed you'd arrived

God with us

And they sang "Peace on Earth, Peace on Earth."

But I searched the world for peace and I found war

Hatred and disease, injustice to the poor

So was it peace on Earth that you came for?

Is that why you came?

You spoke from the word

As had never been heard

Declaring you were

God with us

Your words such a threat

They plotted your death

Your followers fled

From God with us

And where is peace on Earth, peace on Earth?

Because I searched the world for peace and I found war

Hatred and disease, injustice to the poor

So was it peace on Earth that you came for?

Is that  why you came?

The promised King

They nailed to a tree

But death would not keep

God from us

You would rise, then ascend

You are coming again

And your Spirit you'd send

To be with us

And he'd be peace with us, and peace in us

But I searched the world for peace and still found war

Hatred and disease, injustice to the poor

But for each of these you are the cure

And that's why you came, and that's why you're coming!

So may your peace in us, spread your peace on Earth.

And that's why you came, and that's why you're coming!

In you, may we be found

When you come on the clouds

Our King, wearing a crown

To reign on Earth

And you'll bring peace on Earth, peace on Earth

But before you bring peace, you will bring war

On hatred and disease, they will be crushed by your strong sword

Because for each of these you are the cure

And that’s why you came, and that’s why you’re coming!

So may your peace in us, spread your peace on Earth.

And speed the day, the day of your coming!

A star in the sky

The angels on high

Proclaimed you'd arrived

God with us

And they sang "Peace on Earth, Peace on Earth."

Today

I walked in the wilderness by choice

Hardened my heart when I heard Your voice

Promised that tomorrow I would change

But tomorrow's always one more day away

I won't live with shame and with regret

To make a promise I will soon forget

A promise that tomorrow I will change

When tomorrow's always one more day away

So God, I surrender, today

Here I am, all of me

Great I AM, You see me

Your word is truth and light

It pierces to my heart

Sever from my life anything that's of the dark

To You the Only Way, I surrender, today

Before you formed the world you foreknew

The waywardness my willful heart would choose

Before I even had a breath to breathe

You knew you would breathe your last for me

I won't put another nail into the cross

Because once for all You have conquered death

Forever I'm made perfect by your grace

Yet sanctified a little more each day

My God, I surrender, Today

Here I am, all of me

Great I AM, You see me

Your Word is truth and light

It pierces to my heart

Sever from my life anything that's of the dark

To You the Only Way, I surrender, today

You are My Strength

You are my strength
I rest in your grace
Give me wisdom for this day
In you my heart hopes
On you I lean
For each step along the way

You are, you are God
And you are good

You give enough
For this moment
I can trust you to provide
When I'm weary
And all seems hopeless
You are still right by my side

You are, you are God
And you are good

From this humbled place I'm in
Broken down from within
You are here to lift me
You are here to fill me

From this place of suffering
Where for some time I've been
You are here to lift me
You are here to fill me

And I am yours, I am yours, I am yours
And you are God
And you are good

You are sovereign
You are loving
Nothing slips out of your hands
You're redeemer
You are coming
Back again to heal this land

You are, you are God
And you are good

From this humbled place I'm in
Broken down from within
You are here to lift me
You are here to fill me

From this place of suffering
Where for some time I've been
You are here to lift me
You are here to fill me

And I'll sing a song to my King
Just your name on my lips
Such a powerful thing
To your promises I will cling
Oh my God, oh my God

And I am yours, I am yours, I am yours
And you are God, and you are good

Before a Word is Spoken

Before a word was spoken
My promises were broken
For so long I failed to follow through
But I will not be shaken
For you are my foundation
I find my hope in you

God almighty, give me the strength
To lift my eyes from
Lesser things
Leave no good undone
Not to sin succumb
To breathe in more of you
And live out what is true

Before a word is spoken
My thoughts to you are open
You go behind and before
The keeper of tomorrow
It's you that I will follow
But when I am weak my Lord

God almighty, give me the strength
To lift my eyes from
Lesser things
Leave no good undone
Not to sin succumb
To breathe in more of you
And live out what is true

Will you show me more, of who you are
I want to know what's true
I've let other things, reign in my heart
And they've blinded me to you

God almighty, give me the strength
To lift my eyes from
Lesser things
Leave no good undone
Not to sin succumb
To breathe in more of you
And live out what is true
